When you're getting ready to make your film you'll often have to find locations that match the needs of your script. Because a director has so much to do, location scouts perform this function, then bring back a report to the director on possible locations. These reports include information about why the location would work for a specific scene, pictures of the location, the locations of emergency facilities, what is required to get permission to use the location, lighting and sound issues, and more. The director will review these reports and travel to the locations (s)he's most interested in to make the final decisions. Here's a template you can download and use as a report to meet the requirements of this card. Remember that if you're using the Type B Quest card, your report has to address any other cards you use with this quest. If you're using the location scouting Skill card, the report should be relevant to the project described on the Quest card you're using.
